COMING APRIL 1, 2012! Marriage: Military Style
Today is our anniversary and we’re excited to have already spoken with some great engaged couples, newlyweds and senior married military couples. We chose today to announce the launch of sharing our lives with other military couples because we celebrate 22 years of marriage, 2 kids and a many moments of love, heartache, joy, pain and more.
It’s no secret that being married to someone in the military can be a bit challenging. But then again, what marriage isn’t! We’ll reflect on our lives as a military couple.
The GOOD, The BAD, The UGLY, and The Very Ugly!
We invite couples to send their questions and comments to us at info@soldierandwife.com. Though the blog is more about our relationship and experiences we’ve shared, we’ll post information on the basics as far as being new to the military, reintegration from both points of view after deployment, family, living, home and more.
Some questions that we’ve already received that we will answer on our upcoming radio show include:
1. How did your marriage ‘survive’ throughout the years in El Paso?
2. You’ve been married over 20 years, what has been the most difficult time for the both of you?
3. How can I get my husband to see that he should spend time with our son when he gets off work?
4. Am I being unreasonable by not wanting to come home, my wife nags me to death?! (from a soldier)
5. How can I deal with the fact that other soldiers have designs on or “hit on” my soldier?
6. Was I wrong for calling my husband’s First Sergeant because he wouldn’t give me extra money?
7. When it comes to handling finances, do you do it together or is one in charge?
These questions and more will be answered so stay tuned to our blog for announcements on the radio show.
